Hey everyone, my name is Joshua Bridges I am 40 years old, and I’m excited to share a bit about myself on this blog. I currently live in Lima, Ohio and I’m in my last year and a half of school at Colorado Technical University, where I’m pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. I’m really passionate about mental health advocacy and I strive to help people who are struggling with addiction and other mental health issues.
Like many others, I’ve faced my own share of challenges in this area. However, with the support of my family, friends, therapist, and proper medication, I’ve been able to overcome these challenges and am doing well with my sobriety and mental health.
My two wonderful boys and two beautiful girls, each with their own unique personalities and interests. They are the center of my world, and I cherish every moment that I get to spend with them. Despite the challenges that have come about through life, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
I am lucky to have an amazing mother who is my rock and biggest supporter. She has always been there for me through thick and thin, offering a listening ear and words of encouragement whenever I need them. Her unwavering love and support have helped me navigate the ups and downs of life, and I am forever grateful for her presence in my life.
In addition to my wonderful mother, I also have three amazing sisters who are an integral part of my life. They are my confidantes, my advisors, and my closest friends. We share a bond that is unbreakable, and I know that no matter what life throws our way, we will always have each other’s backs. I feel incredibly blessed to have these strong, intelligent, and caring women in my life, and I cherish the time that we spend together.
If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please know that you are not alone. We care about you and want to help. Our website, youRnotalone.Life, offers free mental health support through calls, messages, and emails. Please visit our contact page to access these resources. Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
I’m looking forward to continuing to spread awareness and help others who may be going through similar experiences. Thanks for taking the time to read a bit about me!
