HOW WE CAN HELP

If you or someone you know struggles with a mental health issue, we can provide some help. You can read some of our blogs and listen to our podcast, which would help you understand you’re not alone, and maybe they will give you hope. There is other information on the site to help guide you to different resources like online support groups. We try to add new helpful information daily, along with videos on various issues. If you need to talk with someone, our number and email are in the contact section. If we don’t answer right away, we will get back to you as soon as possible. Let us know what you are struggling with, and don’t be embarrassed. This is a safe and judgment-free zone. Anonymity is very important to us. What you discuss with us stays with us. The only exception to this is if you plan to hurt yourself or someone else. Then we have a moral obligation to contact the proper authorities. Hopefully, that doesn’t scare you off. People can have thoughts of suicide and have no plan. We will do whatever we can to help you and point you in the right direction or just talk and listen. Sometimes that is all a person needs, someone to listen to them and generally care about their struggles. Also, other helplines are available in the contact section. Asking for help can be challenging. Many people don’t ask for help, and then they develop more increasing depressive symptoms. Unfortunately, in many cases, suicide starts to become an option are feels like the only cure. It’s not, there is hope. Please reach out and ask for help. It’s ok not to be ok.
